How Do I Configure My DOCSIS Residential Gateway?

Note:

If you set a password, on subsequent access to the Setup pages, a screen

similar to the following appears. Do

not

forget your password. Write your password

and store it in a secure location known only to you.

Configuring Network Time Synchronization

Use the Basic Settings Enable/Disable time synchronization by Network Time
protocol page to enable or disable time synchronization by Network Time protocol.

Note:

If you are not familiar with the time configuration procedures detailed in this

section, contact your service provider before you attempt to change any of the
residential gateway default time synchronization configuration settings.

Click

Set Time

in the Basic Settings section of the Setup page to access the Basic
