Chapter 4 Configuration

4.2.2 GPRS

Tap and hold on “GPRS”.

Most options can be found in the Connection menu on the toolbar as well.

When you select [Set as Default], the GPRS connection will become the default
connection used for browsing the Internet.

Connect / Disconnect

Press the [Power] key to turn off the terminal. Follow the steps described in section

2.4 CF/SD Card

to insert the SIM card to the GPRS module.

Note: Make sure the terminal is set to Suspend mode; otherwise, it may cause damage to

the terminal.

Turn on the power to the GPRS module through the

Wireless Power Manager

. Its

associated icon

on the taskbar will become

If the default PIN code does not match the one of your SIM card, the SIM PIN
CODE dialog box will appear to request the correct PIN code. You will have two
chances to enter the correct PIN code.
