Shipping Materials
BGS3 is distributed in tape and reel carriers. The tape and reel carriers used to distribute BGS3
are packed as described below, including the following required shipping materials:
•
Moisture barrier bag, including desiccant and humidity indicator card
•
Transportation bag
6.3.2.1
Moisture Barrier Bag
The tape reels are stored inside an MBB (=moisture barrier bag), together with a humidity indi-
cator card and desiccant pouches - see
. The bag is ESD protected and delimits mois-
ture transmission. It is vacuum-sealed and should be handled carefully to avoid puncturing or
tearing. The bag protects the BGS3 modules from moisture exposure. It should not be opened
until the devices are ready to be soldered onto the application.

The label shown in
summarizes requirements regarding moisture sensitivity, includ-
ing shelf life and baking requirements. It is attached to the outside of the moisture barrier bag.
