5.5 Response Time
The response Time controlled by the potentiometer
“Response Time”
located on the receiver
module can have a value between
50 and 800 ms
. This allows the optimisation of the detection
sensitivity
for any particular installation situation.
Increasing the Response Time reduces
the sensitivity
.
In
“
AND/OR
” mode the response time of the bottom cell only is stable at 1,5 sec
5.6 Final Checks
On completion of the installation check the following:
Verify that crossing the protected area creates an intrusion alarm.
Verify that blocking the barrier for at east one minute creates a disqualification alarm.
When the disqualification alarm activates the intrusion alarm will de-activate.
Ensure that the covers are clean
Repeat all the final checks at least once every year, particularly the cleanliness of the
covers. It is recommended that the alignment voltage is noted at each visit so that any
degradation can be detected and corrected to avoid eventual false alarms.
