Updating display settings

 

 

40 

 

Turning off local dimming

 

By default, local dimming is set to On.  

Local dimming automatically adjusts areas of the LCD backlight to create deeper black levels and higher 
contrast. To avoid an overly dark image when displaying content that includes fine details on a black 
background, turn this feature off.

Choosing Power Saving mode

 

Choose when a display panel wakes up from power-saving mode.

The display panel 

don’t wake up from sleep mode even when it receives an active video

The display wakes up when it receives an active signal from its inputs and can be waked 

up by RS232 command as well. 

•

 

Never Sleep

—

The display panel never enters power-saving mode. 

Selecting DisplayPort version

 

Choose 

DisplayPort’s

 version of the DP1 & DP2 inputs.

Select EDID (Extended Display Identification Data) of the HDMI and DisplayPort inputs

Use the arrows to select the option for inputs. 

Updating Multi-Display Control settings

 

Use the Multi-Display Control to display content from a single video source over an entire video wall. 

The content is automatically scaled and cropped in each display panel to create a single large virtual  display 
spanning the full video wall. The Multi-Display Control also allows you to control other  features, such as the 
removal of the geometric effect of the LCD bezels. 

Before using the Multi-Display Control, consider the following.
