Installing the projector on the pedestal
Correct and level installation of all components is important for personnel safety, and for the
protection of equipment.
Caution! If not avoided, the following could result in minor or moderate injury.
•
A minimum of four people or appropriately rated lift equipment is required to safely lift or move
the pedestal or projector.
1. Position the pedestal on a level, sturdy surface.
Warning! If not avoided, the following could result in death or serious injury.
•
Do not use the leveling feet to tilt or angle the rack stand.
2. Use the leveling feet to level the projector.
3. Before installing the projector, secure the leveling feet using a 24 mm wrench to tighten the
four M16 jam nuts.

4. Obtain the two front foot lock brackets, the two rear foot lock brackets, and the four bracket
covers. Install the foot brackets onto the top surface of the stand using the 16 M5 screws and
washers.
5. Loosely secure the four lock brackets. They are tightened later in this procedure, during
projector adjustment.
6. Using proper, safe lifting methods, carefully place the projector on top of the pedestal.
