Notice
On delivery, the nominal voltage of the UPS devices is 230 V. Using
software, the output voltage of the UPS can be set to other values
(see Table 7 on page GB - 39). The required software can be down-
loaded from the CHLORIDE Internet page (http://www.chloridepow-
er.com).
Commissioning of an external battery extension
The table below contains an overview of the designations of the battery
extensions available for the UPS devices.
Upright devices: A maximum of two battery extensions may be connected
to a UPS device.
Rack-mounting devices: A maximum of two battery extensions may be
connected to the ACTIVE 1000-19 UPS device and five battery extensions
to the ACTIVE 2000-19 and ACTIVE 3000-19 UPS devices.
Danger
Make certain that the circuit breaker on the battery extension is in the
"OFF" position.
For models ACTIVE 1000(-19) to ACTIVE 3000(-19), connect the battery extension to
the UPS using the supplied cable.
The arrangement of the connection cable is shown in the following figures
using the upright device as an example.
