Maintenance

Fan Belt

• Adjust fan belt properly. Loose belt slips and reduces cooling airflow and

electricity generated by altornator. Slippage also reduces belt life.

1. Open top cover and hold it securely in place

with prop.

2. Push in the middle of belt to check amount of

bending. If it is not correct, adjust.

1. Loosen bolt that fixes alternator.
2. Move altornator to adjust belt tension.

• Amount of bending: 7mm with 5kgf.
