Sit with your shoulders as far
back against the backrest as
possible. Set the backrest angle
so that you can easily reach the
steering wheel with your arms
slightly bent. Maintain contact
between your shoulders and the
backrest when turning the
steering wheel. Do not tilt the
backrest too far back. We
recommend a maximum angle of
approximately 25°.

Set the seat height high enough
to have a clear field of vision of
all sides and on instrument
panel. There should be at least
one hand of clearance between
your head and the headlining.
Your thighs should rest lightly on
the seat without pressing into it.

Warning
Sitting in a reclined position while
your vehicle is in motion can be
dangerous. Even if you buckle up,
your seat belts cannot protect
properly when you are reclined.
The shoulder belt cannot protect
properly because it will not rest
against your body. Instead, it will
be in front of you. In a crash, you
could move into it, receiving neck
or other injuries.

The belt could move up over your
abdomen and cause internal
injuries.
For proper protection, when the
vehicle is in motion, have the seat
backrest upright. Then, sit well
back in the seat and wear your
seat belt properly.
