MINIMUM INBUILT FLUE COMPONENTS
Primary air adjustment under grate
STEP 1:
DAMPER ASSEMBLY
STEP 2: BACK PLATE AND BAFFLE ASSEMBLY
THIS ASSEMBLY IS DONE PRIOR TO INSTALLING THE FLUE.
IT CAN ALSO BE REMOVED AND RE-ASSEMBLED FOR FLUE SWEEPING FROM INSIDE OF THE FIREBOX.
See instructions below:
1.
Before removing the damper, remove the baffle (take care to hold the decorative back plate of the unit to avoid it falling),
then put the damper into the open (vertical) position.
2.
Raise the damper following the arrow to disengage it from its brackets
3.
Turn the damper towards the right hand side
4.
Then lower it into the fire place
ENSURE DAMPER IS FITTED FIRST
1.
Insert the back plate into the firebox
2.
Place the top of the plate against the back wall of the firebox
3.
Position the bottom of the plate against the bottom of the firebox and ensure a fixed position
4.
Introduce the baffle (as illustrated below) and raise it towards the inside of the gather
5.
Place the baffle towards the back of the unit and rest it on top of the decorative plate
6.
Bring down the baffle on the supporting brackets at the front and back of the internal gather (as illustrated below)
IMPORTANT:
ENSURE THE DECORATIVE PLATE IS CORRECTLY SUPPORTED BY THE BAFFLE.
For maintenance or replacing a part, please do the opposite of the instructions here, taking care to hold the
decorative plate to avoid it falling down when installing the baffle
