In case of a cooking zone is selected, after 10 sec. there the dot extinguishes and
the LED stops blinking.
When switching from one cooking zone to another, the timer display indicates
the current timer value of the respective cooking zone. Timer settings of other
cooking zones stay active.
As long as the timer is selected (display dot flashes for 10 sec) it can be set.
The setting range is 0 – 9.5 hours in single steps; by Slider area & direct setting
area.
After the timer value is set, countdown starts with the last set value. The timer
is deselected automatically after 10 sec and the timer display indicates the timer
value.
After expiry of the set time an acoustic signal is given and the timer display
flashes „00“.
In case of more than one active timer the display indicates the last selected
cooking zone’s timer value (after 10s deselection time).
14.3 Setting a timer value

Select the timer display (by touching the cooking zone display area, and then
pressing timer edit key).

Time value attribution is composed by minutes and hours, that means user can
adjust time from 0-99min and 2.0 hours to 9.5 hours. The timer attribution
refer to the right LED “hour” or ”min”.

The pressing of timer display is to choose timer attribution. Both keys(3) and
keys(5) can set the timer value. The difference is keys(3) are slider keys(real
keys & virtual keys) but the keys(5) are the real keys.

The timer value can directly set by slider keys and can give users the feeling
of slider on the TC.

Timer value can be also set by adjustment with the Timer edit keys(5) as the
traditional way.

If the time is set as 99min, then another Timer Plus Key operation or slider
the Slider Key to right direction will set the Timer to 2.0 hours.
