IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

WARNING:
When using electrical appliances especially when children are
present, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of
fire, electric shock, and/or injury to persons, including the following:
1.
Never operate appliance without bread.
2.
Do not insert any forks, knifes or similar items into the appliance.
3.
Do not insert oversized items; foil packaging or metal implements in the
toaster wells.
4.
Do not place the item near flammable objects (e.g. curtains, wood etc.).
5.
Do not touch the body of the toaster while in use; wait for the toaster to
cool down.
6.
To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse the power cord or
power plug or appliance in water or in any other liquid.
7.
Close adult supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or
near children.
8.
Unplug the appliance from the outlet when not in use and allow toaster to
cool before cleaning.
9.
Do not operate any electrical appliance with a damaged power cord or
power plug or operate it after the appliance malfunctions, or has been
dropped or damaged in any manner. Return this appliance to nearest
authorized service facility for examination, repair or adjustment.
10.
The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance
manufacturer may result in fire, electrical shock or injury to persons.
11.
Do not use outdoors or for commercial purposes.
12.
Do not allow cord hang over edge of table or counter, or allow it to come
into contact with hot surfaces including stove.
13.
Do not place appliance on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a
heated oven or microwave.
14.
To disconnect, remove plug from the wall outlet.
15.
Place the appliance on a hard, flat level surface to avoid interruption of
airflow underneath the burner.
16.
Be extra cautious when toasting bread products that contain fats or
sugars as the bread may burn. If bread smokes, press CANCEL button or
use a lower setting to stop it from burning.
17.
Do not use the appliance for other than its intended use.
