CTS-112R4 user manual

Aim to the backsight point, and press [F4] (YES) to show "Set". In two seconds, the display returns to
LAYOUT menu 1/2.

11.3.

Setting a new point

New point is required, for example, when a layout point cannot be sighted from existing occupied points.

11.3.1.

Side shot method

Set up the instrument at a known point and measure the coordinate of the new points by this side shot
method.

Press [4] in LAYOUT Menu choose SIDE SHOT.

Press [F1] to input new point name, code and R.HT.

Aim to new point and press [F4] (MEAS) to measure.

Measure the target.
