DMX Channels

Sound Active Mode

In the absence of a DMX signal, the Omega II will automatically go into sound activation. The first unit in the system will
become the master and all other units will be slave units. In sound activaation, the dip switch settings are irrelevant. The
Omega II will shut off automatically in a few seconds if no DMX signal or sound is received.

Sound activation may also be accessed via your DMX controller. If channel 1is set between 250-255, the Omega II will
run sound activated.

Pan & Tilt Inversion

The pan and tilt may be inverted by use of dip switch #10. By setting dip switch #10 on for 1 unit and off for another, the
Omega II’s will move in opposite directions. This is a very useful feature in creating an interesting show.

LED DMX Indicator

When a DMX signal is present, the blue LED will pulsate rapidly. In sound activation, the led will pulsate to the beat of
the music.

CH-X Blackout Controller

The CH-X blackout controller may be used whenever the Omega II is run in
sound activation. Simply plug the 1/4” plug into the jack on the top of the unit.
Press the button twice and the OMega II will go into blackout. Press again
twice and the program will resume. The CH-X will not operate when a DMX
signal is present.
