IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Before operating this product, read, understand, and follow these instructions.

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed
including the following:

Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.

To protect against electrical shock do not immerse power cord, plugs, or this appliance in
water or other liquids.

Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.

Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning the appliance. Allow to cool before
putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.

Do not operate any appliance with a damaged power cord or plug or after the appliance
malfunctions, or has been damaged in any manner, Return appliance to the nearest
authorized service facility for examination, repair or adjustment.

Do not use accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer as this
may cause injuries.

Do not use outdoors.

Do not let power cord hang over edge of table or counter or touch hot surfaces.
10.
Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
11.
Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil or other hot
liquids.
12.
Turn any control to “off”, when plug or remove plug from wall outlet.
13.
Do not use appliance for other than intended household use only.

Dry foods as thoroughly as possible before lowering into the hot oil, water and frost on
foods will result in high oil splattering during the cooking cycle.
15.
Do not set the unit on a soft surface, or table covering such as a tablecloth, make sure you
use the unit on an even and hard surface.
16.
Do not place the unit in a damp area when using.
17.
Do not attempt to remove fried foods from the basket. Foods are very hot and should only
be removed with the proper utensils.
18.
Do not stand right over the fryer during the frying cycle. There is a risk that you can be
burned by splattering oil.

Do not attempt to fry with butter, margarine or olive oil.
20.
Always unplug your deep fryer when not in use.
21.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for
their safety.
22.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
23.
Check the temperature of food in case of the temperature is too high.
24.
Don’t close the cover when the appliance is working in case of scalding when opening the
cover.
25.
This appliance is intended for household use only.
26.
Always place the deep fryer on a stable surface and keep all flammable materials away.
27.
Make sure that the deep fryer is not near or on a switched-on hot plate.
28.
Before you use the deep fryer, it must be filled with the required amount of oil or fat. Never
use the deep fryer without oil or fat because this could damage the unit.
29.
This deep fryer is protected with a thermal safety device, which switches the machine off
automatically if it overheats.
30.
If the deep fryer and/or cord are damaged, they must be replaced by the manufacturer or its
service agent. Do not try to repair the unit by yourself, neither to replace a damaged cord.

Be sure not to damage the heating element. (Do not bend or dent.)
