Input 1

The sensors are located under the tilt table sur-
face as shown Figure 2-86. The sensors detect
books as they fall onto the conveyor.

Possible Fault Indicators



Input jam, Conveyor and lift
sensors are active

when there is no jam

Initial Actions

Check that the sensing surfaces are set 1/4" (6-
7 mm) below the table surface.

Check that all cables are securely fastened to
the connectors in the conveyor case.

Check that the reflective tape pieces are in place
on the book stop.

Check and repair loose or broken wire 144 at
the power panel.

Procedure

1. Check that the sensors are not blocked.
