SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
These guidelines are provided for your protection and convenience. Please read them carefully. If you have any ques-
tions regarding the use of your equipment call CFR Technical Service at 800.533.2557. Failure to adhere to instructions
provided can potentially void any warranties. Precautions and safety warnings are provided for your protection. Failure
to observe these warnings could result in personal injury and damage to the equipment. When using an electrical appli-
ance, basic safety precautions should always be followed.
WARNING!
Do not attach any device that would engage the trigger in the on position.
WARNING!
To reduce the risk of electric shock, fire, or injury:
1. This machine should only be used by trained and authorized personnel. Operators must read and understand
this manual completely and view the training video before operating the equipment.
2. Do not leave unit unattended when plugged in when not in use. Always unplug the
equipment from outlet when not in use and before servicing.
3. Connect to a properly grounded outlet only. (See Grounding Instructions)
4. Do not use with damaged cord or plug.
5. Do not handle plug or unit with wet hands.
6. Do not pull or carry by cord, use cord as a handle, close a door on cord, or pull cord around sharp edges or
corners. Do not run machine over cord. Keep cord away from heated surfaces.
7. Turn off all controls before unplugging.
8. Do not unplug by pulling on cord. To unplug, grasp the plug, not the cord.
9. Do not put any object into openings. Do not use with any opening blocked; keep free of dust, lint, hair, and
anything that may reduce air flow.
10. Do not use without filters in place.
11. Do not use to pick up flammable or combustible liquids such as gasoline or use in areas where they may be present.
12. Do not expose to rain. Store indoors.
13. If unit is not working as it should, has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or dropped into water, take it to a local
CFR service center.
Grounding Instructions
This unit must be grounded. Grounding provides the
path of least resistance for electric current, in the event
of malfunction or breakdown, to reduce the risk of elec-
tric shock. This unit is equipped with a cord having an
equipment-grounding conductor and grounding plug.
The plug must be inserted into an appropriate outlet
that is properly installed and grounded in accordance
with all local codes and ordinances.
WARNING!
Improper connection of the equipment-grounding conductor can result in a risk of electric
shock. Check with a qualified electrician or service person if you are in doubt as to whether the outlet is properly
grounded. Do not modify the plug provided with the appliance – if it will not fit the outlet; have a grounded outlet installed
by a qualified electrician.
