MSA G1 Classic Breathing Apparatus

Doff the Flash Hood

Follow these steps to doff the flash hood.

Step

Description

Photos

Follow the Doff BA procedure to Step 1.4 in chapter 4

Remove the facemask and the BA.

2.1

At the temple, slide the fingers under the
flash hood.

2.2

Slide the face opening back over the head so
that it is sitting over the jacket collar.

Continue the Doff BA procedure from step 2 in chapter 4.

Remove the flash hood.

Remove the jacket.
