Carry the trimmer by the handles provided, keeping your hands away from the cutting blades.
Do not remove cut material or hold material to be cut while the blades are moving.
Make sure the switch is off when clearing jammed material.
A moment of inattention while operating a hedge trimmer may result in serious personal injury.
Carry the hedge trimmer by the handle.
Take care when transporting, only moving the unit with the blade cover attached.
Always ensure that all protective devices and handles are fitted properly.
Specific Rules for Shears
Do not attempt to remove cut material, nor hold material to be cut when blades are moving.
Make sure the switch is off when clearing jammed material from blades. Do not grasp the
exposed cutting blades or the cutting edges when picking up the tool.
Keep blades away from hands.
CAUTION : Blades coast after being turned off.
When the tool is stored and not in use, always attach the blade cover.
If any parts are broken or missing, do not attempt to attach a battery or operate the unit until
the broken or missing parts are replaced. Failure to do so may result in possible serious injury.
Specific Rules for Reciprocating Cutter
The reciprocating saw is designed for light, cosmetic use. It is not suitable for heavy duty use.
Only use the supplied blades or blades of an identical rating. The use of unsuitable blades may
lead to injury.
Pay attention to blade installation. Incorrect installation may lead to injury or damage.
To avoid injury or damage, do not operate the saw without the pivot shoe.
Unpacking
WARNING : Do not attempt to modify the tool or use accessories not specifically designed for
use with the tool. Any such alteration or modiciation is misuse and can result in hazardous
conditions leading to possible serious injury.
When unpacking the box, do not discard any packing materials until all of the contents are
accounted for:
1. Carefully lift the tool and any accessories out of the carton and place it on a stable, flat
surface.
2. Open the boxes and locate the following:
