The display will then show the sound settings (as shown with arrow 1 below). This
refers to whether the tape measure makes a beeping sound every time it takes a
measurement.
Press the measurement/settings button to toggle the sound on/off. Press and hold
the measurement/settings button for 2 seconds to confirm the sound settings.

This display will then show the backlight settings (as shown with arrow 2 below). This
triggers whether the backlight on the display is turned on/off.
Press the measurement/settings button to toggle the backlight on/off. Press and
hold the measurement/settings button for 2 seconds to confirm the backlight
settings.
Clearing data and powering off
• Press the power button to clear the measurement data. This may be useful if you
need to remeasure a distance using area, volume, or Pythagoras theorem.
• To turn the tape measure off, press and hold the power button for 2 seconds.
Charging
1.
Plug one end of the USB Type-C charging cable into the charging port.
2.
Plug the other end into a power adapter (not supplied), then plug the power adapter
into a socket.
3.
Turn on the power to charge.
