5.1.3
Replacing a TCC
Note:
Before replacing a TCC, you must make sure to back up the
system confirmation. After installing the new TCC, you
should restore the backed up configuration. For
instructions, refer to the Evolution IP-20LH User Guide,
DOC-00043450.

Remove the SD card. Afterwards,
you will insert the SD card into the
new TCC in order to preserve the
system's current software and
configuration. To remove the SD
card, press down gently on the card
and slide the card out of its socket
on the upper left side of the TCC.

Disconnect all cables (not shown)
on the TCC to be replaced

Unscrew the two captive screws
that secure the TCC to the chassis.
A screwdriver may be used if
necessary to unscrew the screws.

Release the TCC from the
backplane connectors by means of
the card ejectors.

Loosen the captive screws.

Carefully remove the TCC from the
chassis by pulling the screws.

Insert the new TCC in the chassis,
as described in
8 Reconnect all cables (not shown).
