resistance.

plugged into

a working, 110 volt,

grounded,

electrical outlet.

The Wood Shaper runs

slow.

circuit has low

voltage or high

resistance.

2. The V-Belt is

slipping.

1. Make sure machine is

plugged into

a working, 110 volt,

grounded,

electrical outlet.

2. Adjust V-Belt tighter, or

replace Belt.

The Wood Shaper

vibrates. The

Spindle is loose. Or the

Cutter

“chatters”.

1. The Stand of the

Wood Shaper

is unstable and

wobbles.

2. The Spindle or

Cutter is loose or

out of alignment.

3. The Wood Shaper

has a loose

Motor or Spindle

Cartridge.

1. Stabilize the Stand on the

floor.

2. Reinstall the Spindle and/or

Cutter.

3. Have a qualified service

technician

check Motor and/or Spindle

Cartridge.

The Forward/Reverse

Switch does

not operate properly.

1. Defective Forward/

Reverse

Switch.

1. Immediately turn off

machine and unplug it

from its electrical outlet.

Do not operate

machine until a qualified

service

technician repairs or

replaces

Forward/Reverse Switch.

The Power Switch does

not turn off
