7. CLEANING
-
It is recommended to clean the appliance immediately after in
-
stallation.
-
Disconnect the appliance from power supply, remove all foods and
the storage bin.
-
Wipe the internal surfaces with a cloth moistened with a warm
baking soda solution. Use a ratio of 2 tablespoons of baking soda
per 1 l of water.
-
Wash the storage bin with a mild detergent.
-
Keep the lid seals (rubber gaskets) clean for efficient operation.
-
Clean the housing of the freezer with a mild detergent and warm
water.
-
Wipe the appliance dry with a soft cloth.
-
Clean the condenser heat exchanger using a vacuum cleaner if it
is contaminated with dust or dirt.
-
It is recommended to clean the freezer during defrosting. This will
allow to prevent the development of unpleasant odors and make
operation of the appliance more efficient.
SUSPENDING APPLIANCE OPERATION
-
Remove the frozen foods from the appliance.
-
Disconnect the appliance from power supply.
-
Perform appliance cleaning as described above.
-
Leave the lid slightly open to prevent the possible development of
condensate, mold or unpleasant odors.
-
Do not leave children without supervision. The appliance should be
kept out of reach of children.
-
If you intend to suspend operation of the appliance for less than
three months, you may leave it connected to power supply.
TRANSPORTATION

The appliance should be transported in its packaging in a normal
upright position by any type of enclosed vehicle. Securely fasten the
appliance to prevent shocks and displacement inside the vehicle.

It is not allowed to tilt the freezer by more than 45° during han
-
dling operations, as this can cause damage to the compressor and
refrigerant system.

to reach the set temperature. The
freezer has been turned off for a
prolonged time and requires 2-3
hours to fully cool down
The temperature in the freezer
chamber is too low
Temperature setting is too low.
Set a higher temperature. The
temperature will stabilize within a
few hours
Crackling sounds during freezer
operation
Metal parts are expanding or
contracting like in heating piping.
This is normal. The sound appear
and disappear as long as the
freezer continues operating
Bubbling sounds like boiling water
during operation
Refrigerant (used for cooling the
freezer chamber) is circulating in
the system. This is normal
The freezer is vibrating
Check if the freezer is installed
level. Warped or saggy floor. The
freezer is installed on a floor that
is unstable or moving. Ensure that
the floor can support the weight of
the freezer. Level out the freezer
using wooden or metal shims under
the corner supports. The freezer
is touching a wall. Reinstall the
freezer or move it away from the
wall
The freezer lid will not close
properly
The freezer is not level. The lid
gasket is contaminated. Storage
bin installed improperly
Compressor surface becomes hot
This is normal. Do not touch the
compressor
8. DISPOSAL
Upon expiry of its service life the appliance can be disposed of sepa

rately from ordinary domestic waste. You can turn it over to a special

ized electric and electronic appliance disposal and recycling centre.
9. CERTIFICATION DATA, GUARANTEE
The service life of this item is 10 years since the date of sale to the
end user, provided the item will be used in strict accordance with
the present manual and the applicable technical standards. Upon
expiry of the service life please contact the nearest authorized service
centre for suggestions as to further operation of the appliance. The
manufacturing date of the appliance is integrated into the serial
number (digits 2 and 3 - year, digits 4 and 5 - month of manufacture).
