5.0 INSTALLATION NOTES AND ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
5.1
Run the inside station wire to the panel assembly and terminate on an
RJ11C terminal block.
5.2
The use of a gas tube station protector is recommended. The station
ground should not exceed 50 ohms.
5.3
Plug the modular line cord from the panel assembly into a RJ11C terminal
block.
5.4
Dress the line cable away from the mounting holes before installing the
panel into your housing.
5.5
Run the LAN cable/wire through the mounting box or surface and
terminate with the proper connector (i.e. RJ45)
5.6
Position the ATA unit and power adapter as desired. The power adapter
requires a 100-240V, 0.3A max, 20-30VA, 50-60Hz source.
5.7
Plug the modular line cord from the panel assembly into the phone jack of
the ATA unit. Plug the LAN cable into the LAN port of the ATA unit.
5.8
Prior to connecting the power adapter to its source, review and follow the
instructions with the ATA unit.
5.9
Dress the cables away from the mounting holes before installing the
housing onto the mounting back plate.
5.10
Ensure all connections have been made, fasteners have been fastened and
LAN is operational.
5.11
Follow the instructions for the ATA setup. Setup may be accomplished
via the telephone keypad following the voice prompts or via a web
browser. Please utilize the contact information on the ATA
documentation for any questions regarding VoIP settings or issues.
5.12
The unit is now ready for use.
