BEFORE USE
Take the product out of the box.
Remove all packaging materials. Keep the original box.
Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If any visible signs of
damage are observed, contact Cecotec’s Technical Support Service immediately.
Make sure that the battery is charged before using it for the first time.
Make sure the trimmer is clean and oiled.

. OPERATION
Charging the device
Make sure the product is switched off.
Charge the appliance to the fullest before start using the device for the first time or after a long
period of disuse.
The battery takes approximately 1.5 hours to fully charge and it can operate for 120 minutes
approximately. When the device is fully charged, the LCD screen will light up and display the
number “100”.
*Battery’s lifespan may be reduced depending on usage and hair type.
Corded and wireless use
Connect the charging cable to the product when it is powered off, then to the socket.
You can also use it wirelessly (without connecting the charging cable).
Assembly/disassembly a comb
The device includes 3 combs:
Comb for hair and beard: 1-12 mm comb
Comb for hair: 3-15 mm comb
Comb for hair: 18-30 mm comb
The length settings are given in millimeters on the combs and correspond to the hair length
remaining after it has been cut.
The device must be unplugged from the mains to remove any of the combs.
Choose a comb depending on the desired cutting length (very short, short or long).
Fix the comb in the side notches, then press the tab on the back of the trimmer’s head to attach
the comb. You will hear a “click” sound when it locks into place (see figure below).

Fix the comb to the trimmer’s head to ensure a better stability by pushing the lock button
located at the back of the trimmer into the "locked" position.
Make sure the comb is fixed before using the device.
To disassemble a comb, press the tab on the back of the trimmer’s head and pull the accessory
out.
Using the hair clipper
Make sure the device is fully charged when you start clipping.
The device will not start operating if it is connected to the mains.
Use the appliance only on clean and dry hair. Do not use it on moist or still wet hairs.
The head of the person on which the device is going to be used must be at the same level of the
chest of the person who is going to cut the hair. This way, all parts of the head will be visible
and easily reachable.
Comb the hair towards the direction of its growth.
Assemble the cutting attachments (see ‘Assembling/disassembling attachments’ section).

Press the power button to switch on the device. The LCD screen will light up.
Make sure the flat part of the comb is always fully in contact with the scalp to obtain an even
result. (Fig. 4, 5 and 6).
For adjusting the length of the cut, unlock the trimmer’s head by pushing the lock button on
the back of the device to “unlocked” position, then set the length using the adjustment knob.
Using the device without any comb
This way, you can contour your beard and remove single hairs.
Warning: The blade is very sharp, be careful not to cut yourself. Handle it with care.
