2. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read these instructions thoroughly before using the appliance.
Keep this instruction manual for future reference or new users.
• Make sure that the mains voltage matches the voltage
stated on the rating label of the appliance and that the wall
outlet is grounded.
• This appliance is designed for domestic use only. Do not use
it for commercial or industrial purposes.
• Do not operate the appliance if it has dropped, if it shows
visible signs of damage or if it leaks.
• Do not immerse the cord, plug, or any non-removable part
of the appliance in water or any other liquid, nor expose the
electrical connections to water. Make sure your hands are
dry before handling the plug or switching on the appliance.
• Check the power cord regularly for visible damage. If the
cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the official Technical
Support Service of Cecotec in order to avoid any type of
danger.
• Never leave the appliance unattended when it is connected
to the mains.
• Never let the mains cord and steam tubes come into contact
with the hot soleplate of the iron.
• Never remove the ironing board cover while ironing or
immediately after use. Always let the appliance cool down
sufficiently before removing the cover.
• The appliance will reach very high temperatures during and
after use, especially the soleplate. Do not touch it to avoid
burns.
• Unplug the device from the power supply as soon as you
have finished using it, before cleaning or before leaving it
unattended.
• Do not move the appliance during use.
• Do not use the appliance with wet fabrics.
• Always place and use the appliance on a flat, stable surface.
