Clean the cooking plates with a sponge and soapy water.
Use a dry cloth or paper towel to thoroughly dry the plates before assembling them.
Note: You may notice a slight burning smell or smoke when using the sandwich maker for the
first time, caused by the excess of lubricants from the manufacturing process. This does not
affect the safety of your appliance.
3. OPERATION
Warning: Do not use this product to defrost frozen food. All food must be completely defrosted
before cooking it in this product.
The cooking plates and metal surfaces of the unit will become extremely hot during use. Wear
heat-proof mitts or gloves and touch only the handle.
Cooking plates
The 3-in-1 sandwich maker includes 3 different interchangeable plates:
Sandwich plates
Waffle plates
Grill plates
To remove and replace the plates:
Open the device.
Slide the plates release button and remove the plates.
Select the desired plate, clip it into position and carefully press it down until it clicks into
position.
Warning: Always allow the device to cool down before assembling or disassembling the plates.
Getting the 3-in-1 sandwich maker ready
Pour a teaspoon of vegetable oil onto the non-stick plates.
Use a paper towel to spread oil on the plates and then wipe off any excess.
Plug the device into a power socket. The red operation light indicator will turn on. The ready
green light indicator will remain off while the appliance preheats.
Close the appliance during the preheating process. As it preheats, prepare the sandwich,
waffle or ingredients to be cooked.
After approximately 5 minutes, the ready green light indicator will turn on, indicating the
appliance is ready for use.
Using the sandwich maker
Pour or place the ingredients to be cooked directly on the lower non-stick plate.
Close the device and use the lock to fasten the handles. Do not open it during the cooking
process.
The green ready light indicator may turn on and off due to automatic temperature control.
Note: During the cooking process, the upper part of the device may slightly bulge.
Food will be ready in approximately 4-5 minutes. You may cook food for longer according to
your likings.
Once food is ready, open the lid and remove it using a plastic or wooden spatula.
Warning; Do not use metal knives or objects, as this may cause damage to the non-stick plates.
Tips
When using precooked sandwiches or waffles, make sure they fit in the non-stock plates or cut
them in such way that they do.
Use only butter or ordinary margarine when preparing precooked sandwiches or waffles, as
synthetic or low-fat spreads tend to overheat at lower temperatures and form dark brown
deposits which could stick to the non-stick plates.
Precooked sandwiches and waffles must be buttered on the outside, unlike conventional ones.
Use heat-proof gloves and utensils when using this device.
