The holes that these screw into are approximately half way up the
installation cage. (Fig. 15). These will support the chimney sections
whilst you fit the extractor body.
•
Attach the extractor body to the installation cage at the desired
height (Fig. 16). There are 5 pairs of holes on the left and right
sides of the cage which allow for this. Use the remaining four
screws supplied. Ensure that the minimum heights are observed
as per page 11. If not, now is the time to make any adjustments.
•
Connect the black and white LED assembly leads from the
extractor body to their respective leads from the installation cage.
Ensure that the 10 pin connector (housed in a grey/black box) from
the installation cage wiring is reaching inside the extractor body -
this shall be connected later and activates the touch controls.
•
Raise the lower chimney section and fully tighten the four silver
machine screws that were supporting both sections. Then,
carefully lower the lower section to the extractor body.
