5. Trouble Shooting

PICTURE

Check power is switched on for all units.
z
Check all connections are tight and secure.
z
Check the LED panel for signal strength.
z
Check alignment of the Transmitter and Receiver.
z
Verify proper operation of the camera and monitor using cable.
z
Verify proper operation of the Shepherd-200M1 & 600M4 wireless link in a convenient location.
z
Confirm the configuration settings for both the Transmitter and Receiver are the same and that no fields have been
left blank. Confirm Transmit Power is set at 5 (maximum).

PICTURE NOT CLEAR (
This indicates a weak signal)

When testing for proper operation of the Shepherd-200M1 & 600M4 wireless link, if the Transmitter and Receiver are
very close together (30 feet or less), the system might suffer from signal saturation. Reduce the Signal Power in both
the TX and RX using the MagicLink software. For normal operation, set the Signal Power to 5 (maximum)

Check the LED panel for signal strength. Confirm Transmit Power is set to 5 (maximum)
z
Verify all connections are tight and secure.
z
Confirm there are no obstructions between the Transmitter and Receiver (see below).
z
Confirm there are no other possible causes of interference (see below).
