CONNECTION
The equipment is supplied complete with connection cables of approx. 50 cm.
Carefully observe the voltage required (12V), the polarity (black=negative; red=positive) and connect the
detector to a line protected by a fuse (1 - 3A).
The white cable is an output (12V negative, max 50mA) for the connection of the external buzzer.

The carbon monoxide (CO) detector, specially designed for the caravanning and boating sectors, can detect the
presence of this gas in the air.
The carbon monoxide is a toxic gas produced by:
The incomplete combustion of fossil fuels
Combustion in a poorly oxygenated room
Carbon monoxide is an odourless, colourless and tasteless gas coming out from tubes, cooking and heating
equipment, which are not efficiently maintained or broken.
It can happen that the user shuts off the detector because of the too frequent or repeated alarms, which in his
opinion are not justified, as he cannot smell any odour or see any reason for alarm. The correct behaviour
however is the immediate good aeration of the room and the reset of the detector (with stopping and restarting); if
the alarm is repeated, turn off the possible sources of carbon monoxide (stoves, gas fridge, combustion engines,
etc.) and have them inspected by specialised technicians.
Each detector is tested and set for the reference gas; the sensor life is of about 10 years from its installation. After
this period the detector must be replaced.
WARNING:
- The detector must be perfectly installed by specialised technicians.
- The incorrect use of the equipment invalidates the warranty and the
manufacturer declines any responsibility for damage to things or
Persons.
