C-1. ATW (Auto Tracking White balance)
The color temperature range for the proper white balance is approximately 1,800°K to 10,500°K. Proper
white balance may not be obtained under the following conditions:
- The color temperature is out of the 1,800°K to 10,500°K range
- The scene contains mostly high color temperature objects, such as a blue sky or sunset.
- When the image is dim.
C-1-1. SPEED : Use [LEFT] or [RIGHT] to set the ATW pull-in speed. If selecting high level, ATW pull-in speed
becomes higher. (000 ~ 255)
C-1-2. DELAY CNT : You can adjust the time based hysteresis of ATW. (000 ~ 255)
C-1-3. ATW FRAME : You can set the AFW frame level. If you set frame level high, the track will be faster. (X0.50,
X1.00, X1.50, X2.00)
C-1-4. ENVIROMENT : Use [LEFT] or [RIGHT] button to select a function.
- OUTDOOR : to set on the assumption that outdoor light sources (mainly sunlight) will be used for
shooting.
- INDOOR : to set on the assumption that indoor light sources (mainly sodium vapor lamps and indoor
lights) will be used for shooting.
C-2. PUSH : If setting the PUSH mode, you will be able to setup the White Balance automatically using [SET]
button.
C-3. USER1 : You can set the white balance options.
- B-GAIN: Obtains the optimum amount of blue gain.
- R-GAIN: obtains the optimum amount of red gain.
C-4. MANUAL : You can set the white balance options manually. The actual variable range is limited to
the range from the low color temperature (approximately 1,800°K) to the high color temperature
(approximately 10,500°K) stored when the pre-white balance was adjusted.
C-5. ANTI CR : This function minimizes the color changes (color rolling) over long periods caused by very small
differences between the flicker frequency of non-inverter fluorescent lights and the drive frequency of
the image sensor devices.
C-6. PUSH LOCK : If selecting the PUSH LOCK mode, you prevent to setup the White Balance automatically by
using [SET] button.
Select the method by which the camera shifts its output colors to compensate for the color of a light source.
The default level of “Speed” is enough and the best for user to use, when “SPEED” is
highest, “DELAY CNT” and “ATW FRAME” will be able to neglect.
