Battery cover
Mounting Batteries
Open the battery cover, and mount four LR-20 (D) batteries. Watch the orienta-
tion of the plus and minus poles.
When they are mounted, the buzzer sounds, and all data is cleared automatically.
Caution
If the buzzer does not sound, the orientation of the batteries
may not be correct. Check the orientation, and mount the
batteries again.
Changing batteries
When the batteries are low, the
mark lights up. When the
mark lights
up, change the batteries before they become exhausted.
Caution
Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of
batteries.

Changing the program
You can change the program by pressing the
button.
You can choose from the manual mode (P-1), five program modes (P-2 to P-6) with
different load patterns, and five HR control modes (P-7 to P-11).
For details of each program, refer to “How to Select a Program” on page 10.
Changing the load level
You can change the load level by pressing the
and
buttons during training.
For example, press the
button. You can see that the profile graph goes up higher, and
feel that the pedaling becomes heavier.
Reference:
In the HR control modes, the load level does not change even when the
and
buttons are pressed.
First, ride the GBF PRO RECUMBENT BIKE to familiarize yourself with the machine.
The bike can be used as fitness equipment without connecting it to Playstation 2.
Power saving screen
When no signals are input for approximately three minutes in any of the screens, the
blank power saving screen appears as shown in the figure. The screen previous to the
power saving screen appears when you start pedaling again, or press any of the buttons.
