CLEANING THE OVEN FOR THE FIRST TIME
Before using the oven for the first time we recommend
that oven be switched on and set to there highest
temperature. Keep the oven door closed and leave the
appliance on for 30 minutes with nothing in it. Ensure
adequate ventilation during this process by opening any
doors and windows in the room. Any odours created
during this operation will be due to the evaporation of
substances used to protect the appliance during storage
prior to installation.
THE RIGHT GAS CONNECTION
This oven can be use on NATURAL GAS or LPG.
It is a legal requirement that all gas appliances are
Installed & Serviced by a competent person in accordance
with the current editions of the following Standards &
Regulations:
Gas Safety (Installation & Use) Regulations
Building Regulations
British Standards
Regulations for Electrical Installation
Installation and service of any gas product must be made
by a suitably qualified and registered person competent
on the type of product being installed or serviced and
holding a valid certificate of competence for the work
being carried out.
PRODUCT FUNCTIONS
The gas oven is controlled by a thermostat between 50°C
and 250°C, depending on the temperature required.
The thermostat light turns on and off to indicate the
temperature control during use.
The gas grill is switched on using the oven/ grill selector
switch.
Turning the light selector dial to the light position will
illuminate the inside of the oven even if no cooking
fucntion is selected..
The appliance is equipped with auto ignition and is also
fitted with a safety switch off and flame failure devices
(FFD’s).
