The electrical safety of the device is only guaranteed if the device is connected to a
properly installed protective conductor system. Operations using an electrical outlet
without a protective conductor are prohibited. If in doubt, have the house installation
checked over by a qualified electrician. The manufacturer cannot be made responsible
for damages that are caused by a missing or damaged protective conductor.
13.7.1 Extension cables

The power cable is kept intentionally short to reduce the risk of tangling or presenting a
tripping hazard.

If a longer cable or an extension cable is required:

1) The power rating of the cable or extension cable must be no less than the rating of
the appliance.

2) The extension cable must a three-lead (grounded) cable.

3) Arrange the long cable so that it does not hang down from table or counter tops
where it can be pulled by children and that it does not present a tripping hazard.
