Energy saving mode
The CCE 180 has an optional selectable power saving mode. The activation is done via the setup menu. Simply press the
"MENU" button, then choose the "CUR" button to select "Sleep Time". By pressing the "ADD" button you can switch
between 5M (5 minutes), 10M (10 minutes) and OFF (no energy saving mode). Pressing the "MENU" button again to get out
of the setup menu. When the device enters the power saving mode, the display turns off. The device get out of the energy
mode by pressing a button or by inserting notes (if automatic start is enabled)
If the device operates via the optional rechargeable battery, it automatically enters the energy saving mode latest after 20
minutes.

Time and date setting
By printing the counting result via the optional printer. The actual time and date is also printed out. You can set the
information at the setup of the CCE 180. Simply press the "MENU" button, then choose the "CUR" button to select "Time
Set". Now press the "ADD" button and you will get the current date and time displayed. By pressing the "CUR" you can
switch back and forth between the informations. About the button "ADD" you increase the value and "MODE", reduce it.
Pressing the "MENU" button again to get out of the setup menu.
Installation of the optional rechargeable battery
The optional rechargeable battery offers you the possibility to use CCE 180 also as a mobile device. To install the rechargeable
battery, please follow this steps:
•
Turn off the CCE 180 and remove the power supply from the unit.
•
Lay down the CCE 180 to its rear and fold the stacker towards the unit and then remove the cover from the battery
pocket at the underside of the unit.
•
Connect the rechargeable battery with the socket by the cable and put the battery in the pocket.
•
Close the cover of the battery pocket and take care that the cables do not bend over.
•
Connect the CCE 180 with the external power supply and switch the device on.
In the upper right corner of the display you receive all information about the battery status. The battery will be charged as soon
as the device is connected with the power supply and switched on. A flashing battery symbol shows the charging process of the
battery.
Please observe the national regulations when disposing the batteries. This is the battery for a lithium battery. Use only
original batteries from CashConcepts because can lead to errors and / or damage to the device otherwise.
