the rotating table is tightened.
-
Motorhead is in a vertical (90°) position, bevel
locking lever tightened.
CUTTING THE WORK PIECE:
-
1. Hold work piece against the fence, use the
work clamp to secure the work piece if possible.
-
2. Engage trigger (20) and activate/press the
safety lock (6).
-
3. Slowly swing the sawhead fully down, holding
the handle firmly. When sawing exerts only
moderate pressure to keep the motor speed
from dropping.
-
4. Cut the work piece in a single pass.
-
5. Let the sawhead return slowly to its upper
starting position.
-
6. If no further cutting is required, turn the saw
off by releasing the trigger (20)
MITRE CUTS (FIG.7)
-
A mitre cut cuts the workpiece at an angle to the
fence.
-
Starting position:
-
Sawhead fully raised.
-
Motorhead in vertical (90°) position, bevel lock-
ing level, tightened.
CUTTING THE WORK PIECE:
-
1. Loosen the mitre table lock knob (9) of the
mitre table (11).
-
2. Set to desired angle.
-
3. Tighten the mitre table lock knob.
-
4. Hold work piece against the fence. Use the
work clamp to secure the work piece if possible.
-
5. Engage trigger (20) and activate/press the
safety lock (6).
-
6. Slowly swing the sawhead fully down, holding
the handle firmly. When sawing, exert only
moderate pressure to keep the motor speed
from dropping
-
7. Cut work piece in a single pass.
-
8. Let the sawhead return slowly to its upper
starting position.
-
9. If no further cutting is required, turn the saw
off by releasing the trigger (20).
-
NOTE: The mitre table engages at defined
angles at the 0º, 15º, 22.5º, 30º, 45º and 60º
position.
BEVEL CUTS (FIG.10 AND 11)
-
A bevel cut cuts the workpiece at an angle other
than 90°.
STARTING POSITION:
-
Sawhead fully raised.
-
Mitre table in 0° position, the lock screw of the
rotating table is tightened.
CUTTING THE WORK PIECE:
-
1. Loosen the bevel locking level (16) for saw-
head tilt at the near of the saw.
-
2. Tilt the motorhead slowly to the desired
position.
-
3. Tighten the bevel locking lever (16).
-
4. Hold work piece against the fence. Use the
work clamp to secure the work piece if possible.
-
5. Engage trigger (20) and activate/press the
safety lock (6).
-
6. Slowly swing the sawhead fully down, holding
the handle firmly. When sawing exerts only
moderate pressure to keep the motor speed
from dropping.
-
7. Cut work piece in a single pass.
-
8. Let the sawhead return slowly to its upper
starting position.
-
9. If no further cutting is required, turn the saw
off by releasing the trigger (20)
COMPOUND MITRE CUTS
-
A compound mitre cut is a combination of the
mitre and bevel cut; this means that in a single
pass the work piece is cut at an angle other
than 90° to the fence and material surface.
-
DANGER: When cutting compound mitres the
saw blade is much more exposed than normal-
ly-increased risk of injury.
-
Always keep sufficient distance to the saw blade
-
Starting position:
-
Sawhead fully raised.
-
Mitre table locked in desired position.
-
Sawhead tilted to desired angle against the
work piece’s surface and locked.
CUTTING THE WORK PIECE:
-
1. Hold work piece against the fence. Use the
work clamp to secure the work piece if possible.
-
2. Press on the upper half of the ON/OFF switch
button and press the safety lock.
-
3. Slowly swing the sawhead fully down, holding
the handle firmly. When sawing exerts only
moderate pressure to keep the motor speed
from dropping.
-
4. Cut work piece in a single pass.
-
5. Let the sawhead return slowly to its upper
starting position.
