14. Tare Option

While saving a PLU, you have the option of programming tare.
After setting the back light function, press the ZERO key.

15. Printing

1) Preparations for operation

Connect the printer cable to the RS 232 connector.
Check the paper on the printer.
Turn on the printer.

2) How to program date, telephone number and store name

ON means that you can program tare while saving a PLU and OFF means that 

you can’t program tare while saving a PLU. 
(Refer to 3. Saving a PLU to memory)

TARE

ZERO

Press the TARE key until the display shows ON or OFF.

Press the ZERO key to save this setting then you will go to 

normal mode.
