STARFALL WINTERIZING
We strongly recommend to store your STARFALL during winter time. Harsh
temperature change could damage the waterfall device inside the plastic shell and/
or affect water projection and/or clearness of the product.
1- Turn off your pump.
2- Disconnect the hose that connects the STARFALL to the filtrer (unscrew Carvin
quick connect fitting)
MAKE SURE TO GRAB THE FITTING ORING SEAL AND KEEP IT
TO A SAFE PLACE IN ORDER TO PRESERVE FOR NEXT YEAR.
3- Disassemble the pool top ledge cover following STEP 3-4-5-6.
4- Remove STARFALL and store it inside, sheltered from bad weather.
5- Replace original top ledge and covers (this will avoid the wall to warp during
winter time).
OPERATING
1- Before you start the pump, make sure the level of water is high enough (refer to
the min/max mark on the Carvin skimmer decorative face plate).
2- You can start the pump once all the components are connected.
3- You can adjust the projection and flow of your waterfall by slightly closing/opening
the 3 way valve.
4 - The STARFALL light, if connected, is controlled by the remote control.
STEP 21.2
Check beauty cap alignment.
Fill the whole trench with soil or stone dust.
Fix the beauty cap with a 4’’ to 6’’ nail.
FIX THE NAIL CAREFULLY AND MAKE SURE IT GOES BESIDE THE HOSE (AND NOT
THROUGH THE HOSE).
STEP 22
1 - PVC glue takes 2 hours to completely cure.
2 - After curing time, inspect your Starfall set up to make sure there are no leaks.
For instance, check 3 way valve connection(s), waterfall inlet connection, pool return
connection and starjet manifold connection.
ANY LEAK COULD RUST OR SERIOUSLY DAMAGE THE STRUCTURE OF YOUR POOL
If you don't see any leaks, we highly recommend to check once again after 24 hours
