2.2.46 Following the instructions in the
operating instructions and the safety
instructions eliminates the need for
special user requirements and training.
2.2.45 Never attempt to jump start a
vehicle with a frozen battery!
2.2.44 ATTENTION!
Explosion hazard! Never
connect the unit's battery
clamps to a 230 V power source!
2.2.43 When the unit is not being used
for jump starting the jump start safety
switch must be set to “OFF”!
ATTENTION! Risk of electric shock!
2.2.42 Do not invert and never hold
lead acid batteries overhead! Risk of
chemical burns!
2.2.41 Do not refill battery fluids whilst
jump starting!
2.2.40 ATTENTION! Gas odours indicate
an explosion hazard! Immediately
ensure effective ventilation! Do not
switch off the unit and do not discon-
nect the battery clamps from the
battery!
2.2.39 ATTENTION - risk of
fatal injury! Avoid any type
of open fire and sparks whilst
jump starting and ensure proper
ventilation! The battery releases
explosive gasses around the battery
during jump starting which could
explode.
2.2.38 Do not operate other vehicles in
the same room when jump starting.
2.2.37 Verify the unit and the battery
clamps are dry. Never connect the
battery clamps to the car battery with
moist hands or and / or both hand
simultaneously!
2.2.36 When connecting the unit to a
car battery for jump starting, verify the
polarity is correct and do not short
circuit the battery terminals!
2.2.35 When jump starting indoors the
work area must be well ventilated. Do
not place the unit on the car battery
during jump starting!
2.2.34 Check the car battery for
damage before jump starting! Do not
connect to damaged batteries when
jump starting! The following signs
indicate a defective battery:

Thermal or mechanical deformation
of the battery housing or accessories.
▪
Low fluid level in the cells
▪
Battery leaking fluid
▪
Smell of gas, particularly near the
battery
2.2.33 ATTENTION! This unit is not a
battery charger and not suitable for
charging car batteries or as a replace-
ment for a car battery!
2.2.32 Do not use damaged valve
adapters! The air pressure may cause it
to burst. ATTENTION! Risk of injury!
2.2.31 For safety reasons only inflate
the item in short intervals and
occasionally check the air pressure on
the manometer and the item being
inflated.
