OFF ON
To make the helicopter ready for takeoff
Your RC helicopter’s 4-in-1 gyro receiver is equipped with a power-on
failsafe.
This is designed to ensure that the helicopter’s motor will not start
unless it detects a suitable radio-control signal when the LiPo battery
is connected. The correct start-up sequence is as follows:
Move the transmitter‘s collective joystick
(and throttle trim) to the minimum
throttle setting.
Power-on the transmitter.
Put the helicopter on a horizontal ground.
Switch-on the helicopter.
There is a short high tone when the signal is
established
Your helicopter is ready for takeoff!

General remarks
• If you have no or little experience with airplane models, you should
first practice with a flight simulation program.
• Seek advice from an experienced R/C user for the first few
attempts.
• Acquaint yourself with the control functions of the transmitter.
• Begin your flight experiments standing behind the model, the line
of sight in the flight direction. In this case, the control reaction is
the same as the direction of control.
Furthermore acquaint yourself with the control of the model as it
comes towards you (side-inverted reaction to the direction of control)!
