The Model 75 gripper blades are retained by (1) 8-

32 x ¼” socket head cap screw. To

replace these blades, please refer to the following steps:

1. Before replacing the Model 75 gripper blades, the cutter blade must be removed.

See 3.4

– Cutter Blade Replacement for information on removing the cutter

blade

2. Figure 3-12 below shows the Model 75 cutting head with the cutter blade

removed, revealing the gripper blades and mounting screws.

3. Remove the 8-32 screw that retains each of the gripper blades and carefully

remove the blades from the slotted holders.

4. Install the new pair of gripper blades, making sure the flat side of the blade is

facing the front of the machine as shown in Figure 3-12.

Note

: The gripper blades must always be replaced in pairs.

Note

: The gripper blades must not be re-ground. Re-grinding of the gripper

blades will affect system calibration and performance.

5. Re-install the cutter blade.
