5. Maintenance instructions
Cleaning your SculpBy hair straightener:
a) Unplug the SculpBy styler from the mains power supply.
b) Always allow the SculpBy styler to cool before attempting to clean it.
c) Never immerse the appliance in water.
d) Wipe the outside of the SculpBy styler with a damp cloth. Do not use sharp or abrasive
detergents or corrosive products.
6. Operation
a) Plug the appliance into the outlet. Press the button on/off switch and wait till the word “OFF”
disappear on the LCD Screen.
b) The temperature of plates rises quickly, and it can be seen on the LCD screen. Select the
desired temperature using the temperature control buttons, Temperature: 150° C (minimum)
-230° C (maximum). When the LED indicator on the LCD screen display stops flashing, the
straightener achieves the selected temperature for use.
c) The LED light will remain indicating the temperature on while tool is in use.
d) To switch off the tool, press the button on/off switch and wait till the word “OFF” appear on
the LCD Screen.
e) Wait until the plates reach the setting temperature to carry out styling and use it in a correct
way by holding it by the handle when styling.
f) In order to use it, please put DRY hair between the two plates, press the handle closing the
hair straightener, and then slide it down towards the end of the hair.
g) Do not use the device for any other purpose than its intended use.
7. The SculpBy hair straightener has the following safety features
Incorporate auto sleep mode: If the hair straightener is on and it is not in use for more than 30
minutes, the integrated intelligent microprocessor allows its automatic off, thus increasing the
safety of its use.
8. FAILURE TO OPERATE
a) In the unlikely event that your SculpBy product does not operate correctly, check that the
SculpBy product and mains power supply are switched on, and that power is available.
b) If in doubt or for further advice please contact the customer service.
9. Recycling and disposal
Your SculpBy electrical product is classified as ‘electrical or electronic equipment’ and must not
be disposed of with other household or commercial waste at the end of its working life. When
you have no further use for your SculpBy product, please dispose of it according you your local
authority’s recycling procedure. Your SculpBy electrical product should be disposed of in accor-
dance with the WEEE directive (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment 2002l96/EC) which
ensures that products are recycled using the best available methods and practices to minimise
any potential damage to the environment. For more information, contact your local authority or
the retailer from whom you purchased this product.
