Please read these instructions carefully before using the product
and keep them in a safe place for future reference.

For your safety
The instructions include safety guidelines and other information
important for the proper functioning of the appliance. Please
read the instructions carefully and keep them in a safe place.
If the appliance changes hands, be sure to give the instructions
to the new owner. It is in your own interest to follow all safety
guidelines.
Safety instructions
• Take note of the correct voltage (220/230V AC).
• Never use the appliance in the bath, in the shower, above
a water-filled washbasin or when your hands are wet. The
appliance should also not be used in the vicinity of a bath,
washbasin or any other container filled with water.
• Never immerse the appliance in water. The appliance must not
come into contact with water even when it is being cleaned.
• Never place the appliance on a soft surface (cushion, cloth etc)
when it is switched on.
• Ensure that the air inlet and outlets are not blocked during use.
• The appliance is provided with protection against overheating,
so that it will be switched off in the event of an overload (for
example if the air inlet or outlet are covered). If the appliance
is switched off in this during use, slide the switch to the
0 position and wait 5 minutes before switching it on again.
• Switch the appliance off if the drying process is interrupted for
an extended period.
• Remove the plug from the socket:
- if a fault occurs during use;
- before cleaning the appliance;
- after every use.
• Do not pull on the cable when removing the plug from the
socket.
• Do not wind the cable around the appliance.
• Do not use the appliance if:
- the cable is damaged;
- if the appliance is visibly damaged;
- if the appliance has been dropped.
• In order to prevent damage to the hair we recommend that the
air inlet is not held too close to the hair.
• Avoid hazardous situations. Persons with motor disabilities
should therefore not be allowed to use the appliance without
supervision.
• Children do not appreciate the possible hazards of electrical
equipment, so they should not be allowed to operate such
equipment without supervision.
• Keep packaging material like plastic film out of the reach of
children.
• An earth leakage circuit breaker with a nominal tripping
voltage of 30mA at the fuse box offers additional protection.
Obtain the advice of an electrician on this. Hazardous situations
may also arise when the appliance is switched off. The plug
must therefore be removed from the socket after use.
• It is not possible to replace the power cable. The appliance
cannot be repaired in the event of damage or a fault in the
cable. It must be properly disposed of in this event. In order
to control risk, ask a manufacturer-approved service point for
recommendations about inspection of the appliance.
• This appliance must not be used for purposes other than its
intended use.
• Only specialists are allowed to do reparations. Improperly
reparations can cause considerable danger!
