6 Care and maintenance
6.1 Inspection
The safe operating condition of the hybrid alternating pressure
mattress replacement system has to be checked at each use
by the operator or during use by the patients and at least once
in a year in particular with regards to the following:
• Function of the power unit with pressure control and
control markings
• Condition of the compressed air hoses and connections
• Condition of the air cells
6.2 Maintenance
The air filter element should be replaced.
1. Switch off the power unit and unplug the power plug from
the socket.
2. Open the cover 1 of the air filter holder.
3. Remove air filter 2 from the cover 1 and
replace with a new filter .
4. Close the lid
