3) To change to another mode, press the “

ODE
” button once. The word “
BEELINE
”
should appear indicating that you are now in “
BEELINE
” or Angle-compensated,
True Horizontal Distance mode. Press the “
M
ODE
” button again until the desired
mode setting is displayed. The order in which the Modes appear is:
STANDARD
,
BEELINE
,
HIGH
and
ANGLE
.
E) Measuring distances
Go outside ….. it’s time to test out your new rangefinder!
We recommend you test the rangefinder on trees first until you familiarize yourself with
the operation.
1) Turn power ON by pressing the “
O
N
” button once
2) Look through the eye-piece and aim the reticle (the cross-shaped lines in your
viewfinder) to a tree (or another object) at least 10-15 yards away.
3) Turn the eye-piece clockwise or counter-clockwise until the desired target is in focus.
(Note: The eye-piece can be expanded or retracted depending on your preference).
4) To measure distance to the target, just press the “
O
N
” button once.
Voila!
The
distance measurement should appear on the viewfinder instantly.
5) For more measurements, aim the reticle at another target and press the “
O
N
” button
once. It’s that simple.
6) If the word “
End
” appears on the LCD instead of a number, try holding the “
O
N
”
button down a little longer during measurements. If the word “
End
” still persists on the
LCD then 1) your target may be too close …. objects <10-15 yards away may not be
measureable; 2) there may be something blocking the lens or the laser; 3) the target is
