Insert CR123A (3V) battery paying attention to the polarity. The positive (+) end of
the battery should point away from the battery compartment.
3) Close cap by turning clockwise. When correctly placed on, the battery compartment
cap should sit flush with the body.
B) Understanding the buttons
There are only 2 buttons (“
O
N
” and “
M
ODE
”) on the LR1500-SLOPE laser rangefinder.
The “
O
N
” button is used to turn the unit on
.
The unit will shut down automatically after 10
seconds of inactivity so there is no need to switch the unit off. Once on, the “
O
N
” button
also serves to
activate
distance measurement.
The “
M
ODE
” button is used to change 1) measurement units from
YARDS
to
METERS
and; measurement modes
(
STANDARD
,
BEELINE
,
HIGH
,
ANGLE
)
.

1) Turn on power by pressing the “

2) Look through the eye-piece and note the measurement unit. If the unit displayed
is not the desired unit (e.g.

” button down

(YDS). To change back to
METERS

” button down for 3 seconds.
