BuddyButton
The BuddyButton is especially
built for real time monitoring and
can be used in all areas of life
from walking the dog to going
shopping with friends. It is suitable
for vulnerable adults, the elderly,
people living with dementia,
people convalescing or anyone
who feels they could benefit from
a little extra reassurance when
going about their daily routine.
Using latest advanced GPS and
wireless technology combined
with IPX6 waterproofness and
an innovative miniature size, it
increases safety and reduces
stress.
When needed, you can
communicate your BuddyButton’s
exact position. You or a family
member can request location
and view your BuddyButton’s
position on the map. The
BuddyButton can be used with
any smartphone and you do not
need to install any applications*.
The device is designed for use on
the 2G/850/900/1800/1900 MHz
mobile networks.
Please be aware the BuddyButton
will not work in ‘black spots’ where
there is no mobile or GPS signal.
If you go into an area that does
not have a GPS signal, such as
a tunnel or parking garage the
device will know your location 10
minutes before entering such an
area. The device will relay data
as soon as the GPS signal is
recovered.
