IMPORTANT WARNINGS
BEFORE INSTALLING OR INTERVENING ON THE APPLIANCE, CAREFULLY READ
AND FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS CONTAINED IN THIS MANUAL.
This appliance has been built to function without risks for the pre-established
scopes providing that:
• the installation, running and maintenance have been performed according to
the instructions contained in this manual;
• the environmental conditions and the power supply voltage are within those
specifi ed.
Any use different to this and modifi cations that are not expressly authorised by
the manufacturer, must be considered improper.
The user is exclusively responsible for injury or damage caused by improper use.
Note that this machine contains live electrical components and therefore all
service and maintenance operations must be performed by expert, qualifi ed staff,
aware of the necessary precautions.
Before accessing internal parts, isolate the machine from the mains electricity.
Disposal of the product:
it is made up of metal and plastic parts.
In reference to Directive 2002/96/CE of the European Parliament and
Committee dated 27 January 2003 and relative national implementation
regulations, we inform you that:
1. the obligation exists not to dispose of WEEE as urban waste and to collect such
waste separately;
2. public or private collection systems, envisioned by local laws must be used. It is
also possible to return the appliance to the distributor at the end of its life if a
new one is purchased.
3. this appliance can contain dangerous substances: improper use or incorrect
disposal could have negative effects on human health and the environment;
4. the symbol (crossed waste bin on wheels) shown on the product or packaging
and on the instruction sheet indicates that the appliance was introduced onto
the market after 13 August 2005 and is subject to separate collection;
5. if the electric and electronic waste is disposed of abusively, sanctions esta-
blished by local regulations on the subject of waste disposal will be applied.
Warranty for the materials:
2 years (from the date of production, excluding the
parts subject to wear).
Type-approval:
the quality and safety of Carel products are guaranteed by the ISO
9001 certifi ed design and production system, as well as the mark.
