1. PREFACE

Please read this user manual before using your mobility scooter. Improper use of the scooter 
could result in injury or accidents.
This manual contains operating instructions for all aspects of the scooter, including assembly 
instructions.
The following symbols are used throughout this manual. 

Please read these areas carefully.

Symbols are explained below:

2. SAFETY NOTICES

Before using your scooter for the first time, familiarize yourself with the operation of  
the scooter. Please observe these safety precautions:

The same rules for pedestrians apply to the use of this scooter.

1.  Ride only on sidewalks or pedestrian areas.
2.  Watch out for vehicles when crossing the road.
3.  Take extra care when riding your scooter in shopping malls and busy pedestrian areas.
4.  Always obey pedestrian signals.

This scooter is not 
intended for use in a vehicle.

6.  This is a class B scooter

This user manual contains your product warranty information. Please keep it in a safe place. 
If someone else uses the scooter, please be sure to give them this user manual. 
Some illustrations in this manual may not match the scooter you have purchased; this could be 
due to a design change. We reserve the right to make design modifications.

Caution

Improper usage could lead to injury and/or damage to your mobility scooter.

Suggestion

Follow these instructions to keep the status of the mobility scooter working well 
and ease your operation.

Before using lithium battery (the battery box), please read this safety instructions and the 
labels on the battery carefully: 

1.1  Never short circuit the battery. Short circuit the battery will generate very high current 

which causes heating and may cause leakage, gassing or explosion that are very 
dangerous. 

1.2  Avoid mechanical shock on the battery. Falling, hitting, bending, etc. of the battery may 

cause degradation of the battery.

1.3  Prohibition of dumping of battery into fire. These may cause explosion, which is very 

dangerous and is prohibited. 

1.4 The battery must be kept away from heat source and high voltage.
1.5 The battery must be kept away from children.
1.6  The battery must be kept away from any immersion into liquid such as water, 

seawater, and drinks such as soft drinks, juices, coffee or others.

1.7  Prohibition of disassemble the battery. Any repair and maintenance of the battery box 

are limited to CareCo technical team only.

1.8 Do not use sharp objects to pierce the battery. 
1.9  Prohibition of use of damaged or deformed battery. Contact the authorized personnel 

immediately.

1.10 Waste battery should be handled safely and properly, batteries can be returned to 
CareCo for appropriate disposal 
1.11  The battery can only be charged with the original charger which is certificated. 

Please do not over-charge the battery (stop the charging when the charger indicator 
lamp turns from red to green). If the charging does not turn green for unreasonably 
long time, stop the charging immediately and contact the authorized personnel 
immediately.

1.12 Use the battery only on designated devices.
1.13 Do not charge, discharge and store at temperature exceeding 60 degree Celsius.
1.13  When using, please pay attention to the positive and negative poles of the battery and 

connect properly.

1.14 Do not put battery in heaters, washing machines or high-pressure containers.
1.15  Discontinue the usage of battery during use, charging or storage if it is found to be 

hot, odorous, discoloured, deformed or otherwise abnormal. Contact the authorized 
personnel immediately.

1.16  The battery must be replaced as a whole (battery box). Any repair and maintenance of 

the battery box are limited to authorized personnel only.

1.17  Storage Condition of the battery: Store the battery at room temperature with at least 

40% to 50% remaining charge. It is recommended to recharge the battery every 3 
months to prevent over-discharge. If the battery cannot be recharged after being 
stored for a long time, even if the charging method is correct, it may indicate that the 
battery needs to be replaced. Contact the authorized personnel immediately.
