• It may take a few days or weeks until the effect fully takes place.
• The dispersion of the sound is related to the local surroundings.
• The product can be mounted quickly and immediately provides an optimum protec-
tion against animals.
• The motion sensor registers the movement of warm bodies. This also includes hu-
man beings. In order to conserve the batteries, we recommend switching the device
off when many people are in the area.
• The ultrasonic frequencies are not harmful to the animals.
• If you should have your own pets in the covered area, we recommend switching the
device off.
3. Safety instructions
Note:
Damage caused by not adhering to the operating instructions is not covered by
guarantee. Gardigo accepts no liability whatsoever for any resulting consequent da-
mages.
• For safety and certification reasons (CE) the unauthorised conversion and/or modi-
fication of the product is not permitted. This will void the warranty/guarantee.
• Only operate the device at its intended voltage.
• In case of repairs, only use original spare parts, to avoid serious damage.
• Check feed cables and conducting cables connected to the device for breaks or insu-
lation defects. If you find a defect, or there is visible damage do not use the device.
• Repairs or other works, e.g. changing a fuse, etc. may only be carried out by an appro-
priately trained, skilled person.
• It must be noted that operator or connecting errors lie outside the influence of Gar-
digo and we cannot accept any liability for resulting damages.
• Always check whether the device is suitable for the respective place where you in-
tend using it.
• The use of this device is not designed for use by persons (including children under 8
years) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or the lack of experience
or lack of knowledge, unless they are supervised or have been instructed in the use
of the device by a person responsible for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• Never hold the device directly to your ear. Humans cannot hear ultrasonic frequenci-
es, but they might the device emits at a high volume and then therefore it might be
harmful, if the ear is exposed to them over a longer period.
